This DALI-2 bus power supply and repeater combines signal amplification and power supply in a single device and is intended for extending DALI lines within complex lighting installations. The device amplifies and retransmits DALI signals bidirectionally, ensuring that commands from any DALI control unit are reliably transmitted to all connected DALI lines.
The integrated DALI bus power supply delivers sufficient current to power the entire DALI line, eliminating the need for additional power supplies on downstream circuits. This allows the maximum line length per segment to be increased from 300 metres to 600 metres. By installing up to 3 repeaters in series, the total DALI length can be extended up to 1200 metres, without increasing the maximum number of DALI devices.
The repeater is suitable for single-master DALI installations. Electrical isolation between main and sub-circuits contributes to stable and safe operation. The compact linear design enables easy installation in distribution cabinets or technical areas. The product complies with relevant DALI, safety and EMC standards and is suitable for professional residential and commercial installations with DALI lighting.
