This DALI-2 bus power supply and repeater combines an integrated DALI power supply with bidirectional signal amplification and is intended for extending DALI networks in larger or more complex installations. The device retransmits DALI commands from any connected control unit to all linked DALI lines, ensuring reliable communication over longer distances.
The integrated bus power supply delivers an output current of up to 200 mA and can power the entire DALI line without the need for additional power supplies on downstream circuits. This allows the maximum DALI line length to be extended from 300 metres to up to 1200 metres when multiple repeaters are installed in series. The total number of DALI devices within the network remains limited to 64, with flexible distribution across main and sub-lines.
The repeater is intended for single-master DALI installations. Electrical isolation between main and sub-circuits contributes to stable and safe operation. The DIN rail design enables easy installation in distribution cabinets. The product complies with relevant DALI, safety and EMC standards and is suitable for professional residential and commercial installations with DALI lighting.
