This 5-channel constant voltage DALI-2 LED dimmer switches and dims LED strips based on constant voltage across a wide range of lighting applications. Support for multiple DALI device types, including DT6 for single-colour applications and DT8 for Tuneable White, RGB, RGBW and RGB+TW, makes one controller suitable for various luminaire and strip configurations.
Depending on the selected light mode, the dimmer operates with 1 DALI address for synchronised channel control or with 5 separate DALI addresses for independent channel operation. Configuration is performed via integrated control buttons and a digital display for precise adjustment of light type, DALI address and PWM frequency. The PWM frequency is adjustable up to 16 kHz, making the dimmer suitable for camera-friendly and demanding environments.
In addition to DALI control, the dimmer supports operation via an external push button for on/off switching, dimming and colour control, depending on the selected light mode. The standard logarithmic DALI dimming curve ensures smooth and natural light control from 1–100%. Integrated protection against overload, short circuit and reverse polarity ensures safe operation with automatic recovery.
The slim linear design allows easy installation in luminaires or distribution cabinets.
