This 4-channel constant current DMX512 & RDM decoder precisely controls constant current LED modules (150–500 mA per channel). As an integrated DC-DC driver, the decoder automatically adjusts the output voltage (3–45 V) per channel to the number of connected LEDs, allowing unevenly loaded channels to operate seamlessly within one installation.
It supports DMX512 and RDM communication with selectable 1-, 2- or 4-channel DMX decoding and 8-bit or 16-bit resolution for refined dimming control. The DMX start address, PWM frequency, dimming curve and channel mode can be set via the integrated digital display or remotely via RDM from a DMX master.
The PWM frequency is adjustable up to 16 kHz, making it suitable for camera-friendly applications without visible flicker. A selectable linear or logarithmic dimming curve ensures natural light progression.
In the event of DMX signal loss, the decoder automatically switches to stand-alone mode with internal programs. Protection against reverse polarity and short circuit ensures safe operation. Suitable for DIN rail mounting and operation on 12–48 V DC. The robust design complies with relevant DMX, RDM, safety and EMC standards.
