This 4-channel constant current DMX512 & RDM decoder is designed for direct control of constant current LED modules within the higher range of 350–1200 mA. Multiple output current settings are configurable per channel. As an integrated DC-DC driver, the decoder automatically adjusts the output voltage per channel based on the number of connected LEDs, allowing unevenly loaded channels to operate seamlessly within a single installation.
The decoder supports DMX512 and RDM communication and can be configured for 1-, 2- or 4-channel DMX decoding, with selectable 8-bit or 16-bit resolution for highly accurate dimming control. The DMX start address and parameters such as PWM frequency, dimming curve and channel mode are configurable via the integrated digital display and control buttons, or remotely via RDM from a DMX master.
The PWM frequency is adjustable up to 16 kHz, making the decoder suitable for camera-friendly applications without visible flicker. A linear or logarithmic dimming curve is selectable. In the event of DMX signal loss, the decoder operates in stand-alone dimmer or RGB/RGBW mode with internal programs.
The unit is designed for DIN rail mounting and operates on 12–48 V DC. Protection against reverse polarity and short circuit ensures safe and reliable operation. The product complies with relevant DMX, RDM, safety and EMC standards and is suitable for professional residential, commercial and architectural lighting installations.
