This DMX512 & RDM signal amplifier amplifies, distributes and electrically isolates DMX and RDM signals within professional DMX installations. The unit features one DMX512 & RDM input and 2 independent DMX512 & RDM outputs, enabling DMX lines to be extended, split or operated in parallel without signal degradation.
Support for bidirectional RDM communication preserves addressing and monitoring via a DMX master. Optical isolation between the input and outputs, and between the outputs themselves, prevents damage caused by incorrect wiring and minimises signal interference between connected DMX segments.
The amplifier operates on 12–48 V DC. Active signal amplification increases the maximum DMX512 transmission distance and supports reliable connection of more than 32 DMX devices per line, with a recommended maximum of 5 amplifiers in series. The surface-mount design allows direct installation on walls or panels.
