Passive infrared motion detector (PIR) for ceiling mounting, designed for automatic switching of lighting based on occupancy. The sensor offers a 360° detection angle and up to 6 metres of range at an installation height of 2.2 to 4 metres. The built-in light sensor recognises daylight and allows switching only when ambient brightness falls below the preset threshold.
Both the delay time (10 seconds to 15 minutes) and the light sensitivity (3–2000 lux) can be set via rotary dials. The sensor remains active as long as movement is detected and restarts the timer with each new movement.
The 214-051 operates on 220–240V AC and can switch loads up to 1200W (incandescent) or 300W (LED/fluorescent). The sensor itself consumes just 0.5W, making it energy-efficient. Integrated spring clips enable quick and secure installation in suspended ceilings.
Intended for dry indoor environments such as offices, corridors, entrance areas and sanitary spaces. Avoid installation near heat sources or moving objects like curtains or ventilation grills.
