Step sub-controller for individual control of LED lighting per step within SPI-controlled stair lighting systems. Designed for precise step distribution and reliable signal transmission.
Key product features
This step sub-controller is used in combination with a central master controller within an SPI-controlled stair lighting system. The controller receives SPI (TTL) data signals and controls one individual step, allowing each step to be illuminated separately in a sequential lighting effect.
The sub-controller operates on a supply voltage of 5–24 V DC and is suitable for constant-voltage LED lighting. Each output provides a maximum current of up to 1 A, depending on the connected load.
Connection is made via fixed power wires and data lines, ensuring simple and reliable installation. Thanks to the data-in and data-out connections, multiple sub-controllers can be connected in series without signal loss, making the system scalable for larger stair installations.
The compact design allows installation close to the corresponding step, enabling discreet integration within the staircase structure. In combination with the master controller, a smooth directional lighting sequence is created that enhances both safety and visual effect. Suitable for indoor use.
