This DALI-2 / DMX512 signal converter is designed to interconnect DALI and DMX512 lighting systems and enables both DALI master control of DMX equipment and DMX master control of DALI devices. The converter supports both operating modes and complies with the DALI-2 standard in accordance with IEC 62386 as well as the DMX512 protocol, ensuring broad compatibility within professional lighting installations.
Configuration is carried out via 3 control buttons and a digital display, allowing precise setting of parameters such as operating mode, number of channels, the first DALI address and the first DMX512 address. In DMX512 to DALI mode, RDM functionality is supported, simplifying configuration and monitoring within DMX environments. Depending on the selected configuration, the converter supports multiple DMX decoders or DALI dimmers per output.
The converter is powered by an external 12–48 V DC power supply and features low standby power consumption. The DIN rail design enables easy installation in distribution cabinets. Clear status indication for DALI and DMX signals supports quick diagnosis during installation and maintenance. The product complies with relevant safety and EMC standards and is suitable for professional residential and commercial installations with DALI and DMX lighting.
