This Zigbee & RF to DALI-2 converter functions as a DALI master and acts as the interface between wireless control platforms and wired DALI lighting systems. The converter supports various lighting types, including single colour, Tuneable White, RGB, RGBW, RGB+CCT and switching applications, and is suitable for DT6, DT7 and DT8 DALI configurations in accordance with IEC 62386.
Control via the Dimmit app is possible in combination with the Dimmit Zigbee gateway, which is required for network connectivity, cloud functionality and remote control. Without this gateway, Dimmit control is not possible. In addition, the converter can be integrated into a Philips Hue environment, where control takes place exclusively via a Philips Hue Bridge.
The converter can be powered via the DALI bus or via an external 24 V DC power supply and controls a single DALI address in unicast, group or broadcast mode. Local control is possible via optional RF 2.4 GHz remote controls. The compact design enables easy installation in standard flush-mounted boxes. The converter complies with relevant DALI, safety and EMC standards and is suitable for professional residential and commercial installations with DALI lighting.
