This multimode gateway is developed for the Dimmit platform and acts as the central link between Dimmit lighting components and the network. The gateway combines WiFi, Bluetooth and Zigbee communication, enabling central configuration and remote control of Dimmit Bluetooth Mesh devices via cloud connectivity.
Within the Dimmit system, the gateway supports adding, configuring and grouping Bluetooth devices such as LED controllers, dimmers, drivers and switching modules. In addition, Zigbee 3.0 devices can also be controlled, allowing integration with hybrid installations and existing Zigbee systems.
The gateway provides both local control via Bluetooth and Zigbee, as well as remote control via WiFi. Communication is secured using modern encryption protocols, and firmware updates can be performed per communication technology. Up to 128 sub-devices can be connected per gateway, and multiple gateways can be deployed in parallel within a single local network.
Thanks to its compact design and plug-and-play installation, the gateway is easy to integrate into professional residential and commercial environments. For optimal performance, central placement within the Dimmit system is recommended, with attention to network coverage and potential sources of interference.
