This 4-channel constant voltage DMX512 & RDM decoder is intended for dimming and switching LED strips based on constant voltage within professional DMX lighting systems. The decoder supports 1-, 2- or 4-channel DMX decoding and is suitable for single-colour, Tuneable White, RGB and RGBW configurations for broad applicability across various LED applications.
The decoder operates on 12–48 V DC and delivers an output current of up to 5 A per channel, making it suitable for medium to heavy applications. The DMX start address and settings such as channel mode, dimming resolution and PWM frequency are configurable via the integrated digital display and control buttons, or remotely via RDM communication from a DMX master.
Support for 8-bit and 16-bit dimming resolution enables highly precise light control. The PWM frequency is adjustable from 250 Hz up to 32 kHz, suitable for both standard and camera-friendly applications without visible flicker. A selectable linear or logarithmic dimming curve ensures natural light progression. In the event of DMX signal loss, the decoder operates in stand-alone dimmer or RGB/RGBW mode with internal programs.
Thermal and short-circuit protection with automatic recovery ensure safe and stable operation. The compact linear design allows easy installation in luminaires or distribution cabinets.
