This constant voltage DALI-2 LED dimmer switches and dims single-colour LED strips based on constant voltage. Operating on 12–48 V DC with a maximum output current of 8 A, the dimmer is suitable for a wide range of LED applications within professional lighting installations.
The dimmer uses 1 DALI address, automatically assigned by the DALI master, and follows a standard logarithmic DALI dimming curve for smooth light control from 0–100%. In addition to DALI control, the dimmer supports AC push-dim operation via a conventional momentary push button for on/off switching and smooth dimming. DALI and push-dim control cannot operate simultaneously.
The PWM frequency is selectable at 2 kHz, 8 kHz or 16 kHz, making the dimmer suitable for standard as well as camera-friendly applications. Integrated protection against overheating and short circuit ensures safe operation with automatic recovery.
The very compact design allows easy installation in luminaires or confined mounting spaces. The product complies with the DALI-2 standard according to IEC 62386 and relevant safety and EMC standards.
